Saki (1870-1916) was the pen name of Hector Hugh Munro. He is known for writing short stories with surprising and unexpected endings. Most of his stories were written about the England of his time , though the situations depicted were generally unusual. Many of his stories has children as the main characters. The children in his stories are highly intelligent and have excellent imaginations which help them enjoy even boring things.
